As my workshop opening hours vary according to course scheduling and other commitments, I ask that you contact me if you're planning to drop in.
During my open studio events though, you are of course very welcome to drop in at any time without notice!
East Hoathly is located just off the A22 main London to Eastbourne road. To avoid confusion, please note that it is nowhere near West Hoathly (which is in the next county).
FROM THE SOUTH
Travelling north on the A22, after passing through Whitesmith and passing The Thatched Garage on the left-hand side, ignore the signpost to East Hoathly on the right-hand side, and continue to The Shaw roundabout.
Take the second exit, signposted East Hoathly.
FROM THE NORTH
Travelling south on the A22, after passing through Halland, you’ll come to The Shaw roundabout.
Take the first exit, signposted East Hoathly.
ON TURNING OFF AT THE SHAW ROUNDABOUT
Follow this road, and on reaching East Hoathly, pass Thomas Turner Drive on the left-hand side.
A short way after this is the left turn in to Village Works.
Turn in here, and park. Please avoid parking round the back, because these spaces are reserved for the residents of the flats. Parking is free.
Walk past Osteopathy for All, the Holistic Veterinary Medical Centre and Health House, in that order.
Walk round the back of Health House to find the workshop.
ARRIVING BY TRAIN?
The nearest station to East Hoathly is Uckfield, which is the terminus on a main line out of London Bridge. If you are coming from London, Uckfield is the station to aim for. Arrivals are at 21 minutes past the hour, and given enough notice I am very happy to collect you from the station.
The nearest station to East Hoathly on the Brighton line is Lewes, so if you're coming from Brighton or any of the coastal routes, I can arrange to collect you from Lewes.
