It's been great to collaborate with my Village Works neighbour Becky of Dot to Dot Studio this summer - she was running a three-day kids' craft festival. Two of the festival gang came to make beads with me, and the next day all five of them spent some time with me turning beads and nylon cord into adjustable sliding-bead necklaces.
As you might have read on my Journal page, I had a brilliant time at the Betchworth Bead-In at the beginning of August! One of my customers at that event, Marcia, has sent me this picture of a gorgeous piece she's made using some of my pink beads.
I'll let her tell you the rest...
Made from some of the lovely beads I bought from you at Betchworth.
As I am fairly new to beading I am really pleased with the end result. Looking forward to buying some more beads from you.
Sarah, the artisan designer/maker behind Chalso, posted these pictures and kindly gave me permission to use them on this page. Thanks, Sarah!
I love how she's set off these beads very simply with some gorgeous sterling silver earwires - they make for very elegant earrings.
Here's what Sarah said over on Instagram:
'I recently purchased some gorgeous handmade lampwork glass beads from @letfireinspire. This is the first of the jewellery I've made with them. I used hand crafted sterling silver earwires for these earrings too. Beautiful and unique.'
There's a Let Fire Inspire bead to go with EVERYTHING - which is really being put to the test with this fabulous palette of gorgeous print blouses! The bracelets - and indeed the blouses - belong to Jean, who has kindly given her permission for me to use the pictures - thank you!
